Virgin Islands Small Business Week: May 23 -27, 2011

The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration invite you to join us in a week filled with activities, trainings and award recognitions in support of Small Business Week.  

COPE Caribbean Conference for Business Superstars – Women Helping Women: May 27, 2011

The COPE Caribbean Conference Series for Business Superstars has one purpose: to provide skill-building events for business women throughout the Caribbean, helping you get Clear-Organized-Productive-Efficient. A cadre of professional speakers will focus on improving your personal productivity, financial, and technology skills for business. (Yes! Men are also welcome.)This series will launch in St.Croix on May 27, 2011

VI SBDC to provide services on St. John

The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center is pleased to announce the opening of a satellite office at the University of the Virgin Islands Academic and Learning Center.  The center will be primarily servicing clients by appointments.  To request assistance, please call (340) 776-3206, or sign-up here.

Office Schedule for May and June: May 18, June 1 and June 15   (10:00 am - 4:00 pm)

 VI SBDC is accredited until 2013! 

The VI SBDC became an accredited member of the Association of Small Business Development Centers.  Accreditation is important for each SBDC and is essential for the national SBDC program to be recognized as a high quality economic development organization.  Accreditation qualifies the VI SBDC to apply for SBA funds administered by the Office of Small Business Development Centers. The next scheduled review will be in the year 2013.
