  2. DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS
    The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs mission is to issue business and professional licenses, to insure compliance with the Territory's licensing laws; and to protect the health, safety, and rights of the consumer through assistance, education and enforcement of Virgin Islands consumer protection laws.

  3. LT. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE
    The Office of the Lieutenant Governor through the Division of Corporations and Trademarks, serves as the registry for all corporate filings in the Virgin Islands. We develop the appropriate forms required to form a business entity, file all corporate documents as required by law and provide information to the public on a corporation's status, directors, officers and business purposes.

  4. VIRGIN ISLANDS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
    The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) is a semi-autonomous government agency that was created on February 1, 2001.  It is responsible for the promotion and enhancement of economic development of the U.S. Virgin Islands, to wit:  St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John.   The VIEDA assumes, integrates and unifies the functions of the Economic Development Commission, Industrial Park Development Corp., Small Business Development Agency, Government Development Bank and the Enterprise Zone Commission.  The VIEDA accomplishes its mission by attracting global investors to establish or relocate their business to the U.S. Virgin Islands.  It also provides financial assistance for new and existing small to medium-sized businesses in the Territory.

  6. VI DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
    The Virgin Islands Department of Labor's mission to administer a system of effective programs and services designed to develop, protect and maintain a viable workforce requires that we build partnerships with government agencies, businesses, community organizations and other stakeholders. It also requires a commitment to continuous improvement, reducing costs, improving business processes, technological efficiency, developing staff through training/mentoring/education, improving compliance with regulatory mandates and being a catalyst for positive change.
