The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center (VI SBDC) is a delivery service of management, technical, and training assistance to small businesses in the United States Virgin Islands. We serve as a community outreach program of the University of the Virgin Islands - Research & Public Service Component designed to foster the development of small businesses. VI SBDC utilizes the University's resources of professors, staff and students, as well as business consultants in the private sector.

The Center provides broad-based management and technical assistance to:

• Persons who would like to own their business
• Persons who are ready to start a business
• Persons who are already in business

VI SBDC MISSION: To assist emerging and existing small businesses through high quality professional business counseling and training, contributing to the economic growth of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

VI SBDC VISION: To be the premier provider of small business services.

The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center is a partnership program of the University of the Virgin Islands and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
